The 2024 Wedding Flowers Weekender is going to be a retreat style course (and a total treat if I do say so myself).
Immerse yourself in the world of wedding flowers with this REAL WORK training experience and fast track your skills!
In an intensive version of our signature Wedding Flowers 101 Course (usually 6 weeks/8 lessons), the Wedding Flowers Weekender Retreat will see you create a Ceremony + Reception set up in just 2 days!
With full guidance by Maple & Wren’s Creative Director, El, you’ll experience all the behind the scenes creation process as well as working in a stunning Perth wedding venue to bring a full ceremony and reception to life.
The Weekender includes:
All accommodation on site at Jarrahfall (own room, double bed and ensuite)
All meals from Friday night – Sunday night
Check in on Friday evening and enjoy a welcome dinner and course introduction that night before getting into the floral program on Saturday.

FRIDAY 21 JUNE - CHECK IN DAY
Check in from 4pm on the Friday afternoon after your week at the daily grind. Settle into your private accommodation.
Join us for a group dinner, meet and greet and mini business mastermind and a cheeky glass of something warming at 7pm
SATURDAY 22 JUNE - DAY ONE OF WEDDING FLOWERS CREATION
Start the day with breakfast in the main hall at 8am
Mini mindfulness and meditation session at 8.45am
9am - 4pm - COURSE TIME
On day 1 we dive into the world of wedding flowers preparation and all the usual pre-making before a wedding day with table centrepieces, head table arrangements and aisle pieces for our stunning ceremony.
Lunch will be provided.
4pm - take some time to relax and refresh in your cabin or exploring the property.
6.30pm - join us for dinner and refreshments in the reception hall
SUNDAY 23 JUNE - DAY TWO OF WEDDING FLOWERS CREATION
Start the day with breakfast in the reception hall at 8am
Mini mindfulness and meditation session at 8.45am
9am - 4pm - COURSE TIME
On day 2 we tackle the event day. We'll start by working as a group to create a stunning ceremony including a luxurious ceremony statement arbour.
Lunch will be provided.
Then we'll move on to transforming the Reception Hall into a breathtaking reception with our pre-made pieces and two group projects creating a cake statement and a head table statement to die for.
4pm - 5pm enjoy the fruits of your labour
Everyone departs (with a boot full of glorious flowers) by 6pm to make the journey home.
*We'll also have a photographer and content creator on site on Sunday to capture your creations as well as imagery and content of you in your floral genius zone that you can use for your portfolio and throughout your social media.
