Personal Flowers

All beautiful weddings start with the flowers of those involved.
In this two week course, you’ll learn all the essentials for the members of a wedding party. You’ll come away with the skills to create a stunning floral heavy bouquet, boutonniere, wrist corsage and flower child’s flower crown.
We’ll also touch on other elements that may be additions to personal flowers.
Wedding Flowers Part 2
Stand Out Ceremonies
Wed 20 & Thurs 21 March 2024
6.30 – 9.30pm

While a ceremony might only be a 45 minute event, this is the time in a wedding when the majority of the money shots are taken. It’s also the MOST IMPORTANT PART of a wedding day – where the two betrothed become the married couple.
In this two night course you’ll learn the basic elements of a ceremony design. Working as a group you’ll create a stunning floral arbor statement, entry pieces on flower towers, welcome sign pieces and aisle pieces.
We’ll also touch on other elements that may be additions to ceremony flowers as well as an in depth discussion on the logistics of ceremony flowers.
*This two night workshop takes place consecutively, so you can see the full ceremony come together.
Wedding Flowers Part 3
Table Centrepieces
Wed 27 March & Wed 3 april 2024

Receptions are where the party really kicks off. Flowers are the key styling element for any stunning reception.
In this two week course, you’ll learn how to create a simple and elegant table centrepieces. You’ll create vased arrangements for round table layout, table garlands for long tables, and arrangements for flower towers. You’ll learn the logistics of reception flowers and ‘bumping in’ at Perth wedding venues.
Wedding Flowers Part 4
Head Tables
Wed 10 & Thurs 11 APRIL 2024

Let’s level things up a little bit!
In this part of the course, you’ll up your reception florals game learnt in the previous Part and work as a group to create arrangements for the head table and head table backdrops.
We’ll also touch on hanging installations – but this will be covered in a separate course later in the year!

Who are the Wedding Flowers Courses for?
Our Wedding Flowers course is designed to give you an introduction to every part of a luxury wedding day. The full course is designed for absolute beginners. You do not need to have any floristry skills or experience to participate in this floral artistry course, but if you do, this could be a great source of inspiration to take your floral skills to the next level.
